The Mandela Effect

The Mandela Effect- What is it? How does it happen? To whom does it happen to? When does it happen? These are all questions that surround the strange phenomenon known as the 'Mandela Effect'. The Mandela Effect got it's name in 2009 from Fiona Broome, A self proclaimed, Paranormal Consultant. The reason for this being that Fiona, amongst many others, remember the former president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela dying in the 1980's while being held captive in a South African prison. Although Mandela was actually released and lived until 2013. Many others remember the news coverage surrounding his death, down to the speech his widow gave. All these people share this same memory yet none of it happened.
